Yes the Batman shorts are very very lovely, but they have either been rended on a top range PC or *ahem* photoshoped a bit, not a jaggie in sight.
Which you prefer, screenshots of what the actual game will look like when you play it, or what the game will look like if you have a £4,000 PC?

Monthly sub for sure. The game is not built around microtransactions and they can’t afford another redesign.

I’m currently in the beta and i gotta say it’s very good and fun even better than the original, the downside to me is the combat system… it feels slow and when you try to move far away/run away the enemies still hit you even you’re 5-10m away from them, i’ll hold my tongue until it goes gold.

Coming from Final Fantasy XI the combat feels very, very fast paced. :P
As for getting attacked from a mob that’s 10 meters away: It was even worse in FFXI and at least this time looking slightly away from the enemy doesn’t give you the message “you are unable to see the enemy”
I definitely liked the changes between 1.0 and 2.0 alpha so I’m sure I’ll like the final version.

I’m confused about the Teletubies reference.
This is the first time I’ve heard about this game I think… How long has it been announced? I’ve never been a fan of the FF series but have been wanting to get into it for a few years, unfortunately I bough the latest one and wasn’t impressed as many people seem to be with it, I’m not writing off the future of the series though.

I don’t see it, I get it that it’s the face but the main things of a Teletubie to me is that they’re fat have something coming out of they’re head and the TV in they’re stomach the face is the last thing I think of.
They look more like creepy china dolls to me. Or just something very asain looking which makes sense :)

This originally came out in September 2010 and was closed down for a major redesign which will relaunch as A Realm Reborn later this year.
This is an MMORPG with a monthly subscription, not a single player game (unfortunately, so be aware of that.

I’m in the Beta but it really doesn’t cope well on my laptop. Looks great and a few bits have changed but I’ll wait until my desktop arrives to play it properly :)

Lovely monster and environmental design. Garuda, Ifrit, Ramuh, Titan and Leviathan all look great. Can’t wait for this to come out.
