So, that’s that then – Polyphony are working on Gran Turismo 6. It only took one forum user to discover that there’s a product page set up on the official Gran Turismo site.
So, yes, whilst the page is blank, this is the first time there’s been actual evidence of the game in an official capacity outside of excitable Sony executives.
The page, when you substitute a 5 for the 6, lists posts tagged to GT5, so it’s reasonable to assume that the specific URL is used as a way of indexing tagged posts.
Switching the site to the GB version changes ‘products’ to ‘news’.
Sony are holding an invite-only event at Silverstone tomorrow, where both GT Academy and – it’s assumed – Gran Turismo 6 will be revealed.
Most believe the game will be for the PS3 rather than PS4.
We’ll find out tomorrow.

Just had to check if it worked to change it to GT7, and it didn’t. This looks credible.
I also stand fast that I believe there will be 3 games announced tomorrow. The line after the 5 in Gran Turismo 5 was removed binked 3 times in the teaser video. That’s not to say we can expect all 3 games soon, but I’m betting we’ll hear something about the next GT for PS3, Vita and PS4 tomorrow.

Tommorow should be interesting to say the least, should GT6 be announced. I do hope Polyphony Digital work on other non-GT stuff though, so that the devs don’t get completely sick of it. :P

All the speculation has grown rather wearing, simply looking forward to an announcement and some solid details now. My only requests are more tracks including the return of midfield (i think it was), live fully functioning and changeable weather conditions and fleshed out car modification like the earlier games had.
