The next installment in the Need For Speed franchise has been announced, named as Need for Speed: Rivals.
Rivals will have a large influence on online multiplayer connectivity using the “all drive” feature. From gameplay footage it doesn’t look that different from Hot Pursuit, which released 2 years ago. The game will release on the 19th November.
There was also a trailer, and behind the scenes coverage, of the upcoming Need For Speed movie. The movie will release in the fall of 2014, and will star Aaron Paul, of Breaking Bad fame.

The same old NFS with a few bells and whistles, which isn’t a bad thing but with GT6 and Drive Club I think I will have to give this a miss. May be get it at a later date if it’s well liked.

i’m certainly interested in the movie, i’ve enjoyed the hell out of the F&F movies, so if this is even half as much fun i’ll definitely enjoy it.
