Battlefield 4 & Need For Speed Rivals For PS4 Join The Easter Sale

The PlayStation Store Easter sale has recently been updated adding new games for PS3, Vita, and for the first time in this promotion, PS4 games. The two PS4 titles are both EA properties with Battlefield 4 and Need For Speed: Rivals both discounted from £54.99 to £39.99. It’s not as great as the 50% sale that Thief and Tomb Raider though, and I also thought I would do a bit of searching for deals.

If you want Need For Speed: Rivals new then getting on disc would cost just above the £40 mark, but second hand you can get it for approximately £38. Battlefield 4 is again around £42 to £43 and second hand can be got for between £35 to £38. So I guess even though these aren’t the most amazing deals, the PSN prices are some of the best around if you want to pick them up. Other games also joined the sale this week and the list is below.

  1. Tempted by resistance in the Vita, easy platinum I know and my brother quite enjoyed it.
Shame that the sales on the ps4 games aren’t very cheap, I would’ve bought nfs if it was £25 or less but not for that price.

  2. It comes to something when discounted PS4 games are the same price as newly released PS3 games. It’ll be a long long time before I bother with PS4.

Like Tony above, I’m tempted by Resistance Burning Skies. However considering quite a few people warned me about the game, I’m still having second thoughts. I think I’ll take a rain check on it.

  3. Battlefield 4 (including China Rising DLC) is on sale for £38 on ShopTo at the moment.

  4. How bad was the Shaun White snowboarding? tempted at £4, but its had poor reviews.

    • I played it for five minutes on a mates ps3, no idea how satisfying the career is but I can say it doesn’t feel as smooth and refined as SSX which was a big turn off for me. SSX is on sale too, get that instead :)

      • I didn’t think Shaun White Snowboarding was that bad, haven’t played SSX though. The Skateboarding game is awful though.

      • I tried the SSX a while back,I am sure if i gave it more time i’d probably find it more satisfying but I am not a big fan of the Arcade style.
If SWSB is more of a simulation where you get stuck on a mountain and the rest is up to you then i’d probably be happy

  5. They ought to be giving NFS away. That’s about all it’s worth as far as I’m concerned :)

  6. You can get both of those PS4 games for £37.85 from SimplyGames or Shopto…..
