Sony’s 12 Deals Of Christmas continues to march on in the run up to Christmas, and this time Need For Speed: Rivals has been put up for sale along with Telltale’s The Walking Dead Season Two. While the prices have been brought down by 50% for the titles you can find Rivals cheaper elsewhere for the boxed edition to save a couple of pounds. Of course you do have the convenience of getting the games almost instantly, well depending on your internet speeds anyway. Considering there is no Need For Speed this year Rivals may scratch that itch, if you have it.

Rivals is great, pretty much a new Hot Pursuit but a bit harder and structured differently. Shame the discount isn’t bigger and the vanilla edition isn’t on offer for less, the DLC is mostly cars, only a few new events, I don’t think its worth bothering with.

Nothing again… I guess I should be happy I’m saving money! Managed to grab a USA code of LBP3 for £22 so that can be my deal of the week!

I found Rivals to be incredibly uninteresting. It’s not a bad game, just one that’s not especially fun or fresh. It felt like a poor clone of Criterions Hot Pursuit.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang on a minute. Hang on. Have I missed something? I know that work have taken over my life over the last 6 months but… did I miss this year’s release of Need For Speed?

It’s last years. There’s no new NfS this year.

I’m glad there hasn’t been a great deal for me this year. A deal on the Driveclub Season pass would be nice though………

That is exactly what I’ve beed holding out for. I almost bought it yesterday but thought I’ll hold on just in case, if not I’ll buy it on Boxing Day once I’m sober enough to see.
