A couple of weeks back we ran a competition with the guys at Futurlab to win a fantastic Velocity Ultra art print. Now it’s time to hand it over to James Marsden from Futurlab to announce the winners!
This stunning print is on its way to…
Winner
We had a range of submissions, through Facebook, Twitter and by private email, and whilst it was pretty close, we all agreed that Stu Price is the worthy winner of the canvas print as his comic strips show a great deal of charm and imagination.
He created a series of comic strips to help flesh out the back story of Lt. Kai Tana and her journey to the stars. You can see his winning entries below (click on them for full size):
Stu wins a a copy of the Velocity®Ultra game, a t-shirt, some Velocity®Ultra posters, stickers and the awesome canvas print. Congratulations and great work Stu!

This animation entry from Dave Robinson (@5ypher) was also a great submission.
For his slick animation skills, Dave wins a t-shirt, a copy of Velocity®Ultra , a bunch of stickers and the Velocity®Ultra poster and game!

Figured I’d sign up and thank you for running the competition and also the nice comments about my comic strips. Maybe now that I’ve finally got around to making an account I’ll stick around to comment on things from now on.
