New PS4 OS Screenshots Show Game Page, Android Interface

These, apparently new shots of the PlayStation 4’s operating system, appear to show off the mobile and tablet interfaces that we’ve been hearing so much about but of which we’ve seen so little.

They’re similar to the main console shots, as you’d expect, but tailored to fit the various platforms that will all connect up to the PS4 come launch.

Whether or not they’re strictly prototype or concept shots is hard to say – the streaming mobile screen looks nice, as does the LiveScreen looking Knack page, which shows trophies collected.

It’s all very square and Metro, but at least it’s consistent.

  1. Nice, I like it, hopefully the Vita gets an update to look more like this!
Minor complaint TSA, the gallery isn’t appearing on the mobile ‘I’ site.

  2. I’m more interested in the Boyle guy, has he played DayZ and lasted 100 days?

    • I think it’s his PSN ID. When I read you comment i got excited lol… DayZ, confirmed i thought.

  3. To be honest, its nice to see but I probably wont touch any of this. Social bollocks on a gaming console is just not for me. If its easy to x-game chat and stuff then great, other than that I don’t care.

  4. At least we know now they are going to allow more than 100 friends

    • Makes me feel as lonely as ever:(

  5. It’s nice and refreshing to see people complaining over an interface you’ll probably not be working with 98% of the time you’re on the console….

  6. All I can see is that Henry needs to up his platinum to trophy ratio. Its atrocious

  7. I’m still not sold on the layout, looks too much like facebook, I’d prefer to get rid of the whole social stuff and have a separate page for it.

Also, what’s with the new watermark Al? Is TSA getting an overhaul soon? I saw the pic of Aran’s review in the forums which looked good, and I like the new logo here too!

  8. It should be black writing, on a black background. NONE MORE BLACK!
