NetherRealm Studios Creative Director, Ed Boon, has stated that at least one more character is in the works for superhero brawler, Injustice: Gods Among Us.
When asked on Twitter if Martian Manhunter is the final DLC character for Injustice, Boon replied, “No he is not the last.”
The Mortal Kombat co-creator later went on to say that the next character is “a BIG fan favorite request !!”
Originally, NetherRealm had only planned four additional fighters for Injustice but decided to include Martian Manhunter after listening to fans.
There’s no clue as to who this latest fighter is. The DC universe is packed with dozens of popular icons though common short lists include Swamp Thing, Zatanna, Power Girl, and Doctor Fate, all of whom were featured in a recent poll by NetherRealm.
