There’s something brewing regarding LittleBigPlanet at Sony HQ today, if a couple of Twitter posts are anything to go by, and it could be in relation to a new title in the adventures of Sackboy.
First the official LittleBigPlanet Twitter has updated saying there isn’t a weekly update this week. Instead the tweet points towards the PlayStation blog, adding that there will be “an exciting announcement” instead.
Then there’s this tweet from the main European PlayStation Twitter account, suggesting Sackboy will be making an appearance at Gamescom. Could this be LittleBigPlanet 3 for the PS3 or maybe even the PS4? We’ll find out later today.

Would like to see a PS4 LBP but also another Vita one, some interaction between to two might be a good bet too if they want to sell PS4 and Vita Bundled.
Either way new Sackboy is only a positive, hope it has some substantial upgrades though.

Yeah, I could see PS3/4 and PSP/Vita versions of LBP having some really great cross-compatible features. Roll on LBP3 :D

This reminds me I’m yet to complete the Vita version of LBP, really no idea why either I love LBP. Even have my own little Sackboy.
Anyhow looking forward to seeing what this is.

LBP Karting for Vita, that was heavily rumored a year ago or LBP 3 on both PS3 and Vita.
I don’t see a PS4 announcement this big not being saved for something like Gamescom

Would expect LBP Karting for Vita but I’m not ruling anything out.
Personally loved the original LBP but haven’t really gotten around to playing any of the sequels/expansions.
