The Witcher 3’s Beautifully Brutal New Trailer

CD Projekt Red certainly know how to put together a wonderful trailer, and have surely pushed the bounds of what their CGI team can achieve, with this latest teaser for next year’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

This naturally isn’t representative of what the actual game will look like – though it will be very pretty – with graphical splendour far beyond what even a top of the line PC can render in real time, but feast your eyes, as we get a glimpse at something which might hint at some of the character development and motivations for Geralt’s upcoming journey.

Ah, who am I kidding? It’s pretty and it’s gory, and you should watch it for those reasons alone.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set for release on PC, Xbox One and PS4, some time in 2014.

  1. Wow, that looks stunning.

  2. Looks cool but not as cool as the trailer of The Witcher 2.

  3. Wow. The modelling on pretty much everything is utterly fantastic, let alone the action ensuing. However, I’m with SkyLion on the overall enjoyability of it. Witcher 2’s introductory cut-scene was something else. Seriously violent as well, just as a warning.

    • That’s been one of my favourite cut-scenes for ages. It’s seriously amazing.

  4. Really like the CD Projekt Red guys and this looks to be amazing. Gives me time to finish the first two.

  5. Sweet!

  6. Amazing trailer and series. Love the approach they take to morality and good and evil not being so obvious all the time.

  7. Aw yiss!

  8. Great cinematic. He looks a bit like Old Snake from MGS4 to me in this.
