FIFA 14 Free With One Pre-Orders, Xbox Exclusive Content Detailed

Yesterday we reported that FIFA 14 may be available for free if you pre-order the Xbox One in Europe. This has since been confirmed, and not only will players get the game for free, they can also indulge in some exclusive Xbox content for FIFA Ultimate Team.

This, as I’m sure you’ll all agree, is a fantastic move from Microsoft. One that will no doubt boost the console’s sales in the European market.

Ultimate Team Legends is a new mode for FUT and is coming exclusively to Xbox One and 360. As the name suggests legends of the sport will be available to buy and play for your Ultimate Team including ex-Arsenal stars such as Bergkamp and Llungberg.

  1. Personally if you’re buying Fifa as a launch title you either don’t have a last gen console or the launch lineup is weak.

Fifa is certainly not the reason you upgrade on launch day and spend £400 on a console. I certainly like to have a at least one Fifa game on a console but if the launch lineup is any good I would be getting a true next gen game. If there aren’t the games to buy then why upgrade.

Sony haven’t announced any bundle deals yet, hopefully there are some with a game not available on every platform going.

  2. I’m mystified that everyone seems to have missed the fact that if you were to weigh up the consoles like for like you’d need to add the price of the PlayStation camera on. Obviously not everyone will want the camera, but what of the few that will? For them the xbone would be the cheaper. Although I assume it’s a digital copy so they also lose the resale value.
