The PlayStation 4 Is In Mass Production

Some pictures have leaked from a factory in China showing the PS4 in production. These leaked via a Chinese forum called A9VG.

According to the poster who leaked these images there will be over 1.5 million units being shipped during the launch period, but won’t exceed 2 million. One of those boxes could contain your PS4 (provided you’ve ordered one), and that’s pretty exciting.

The next generation is almost here, ladies and gentlemen. Are you ready?

  1. Can. Not. Wait. :D

  2. I would bet that PS4 has been in production for a month or more already, I see that the Elves did a runner from the pallet trucks as usual.

  3. I would have thought they would have been shipping more units than that if they are shipping worldwide. Equally i cant wait.

    • This is just China. Didn’t the recent FCC filings point to a joint Japan-China production schedule?

    • On the bottom of the pics on GAF it says
“The leaker also mentioned that his boss said they are shipping out over one million consoles from their factory alone, presumably for launch. And they are not the only factory that’s producing ps4s.”
So there’ll no doubt be more.

  4. OMG I am soooooo giddy I am literately hopping around! one of thems must be mine :) giddy giddy giddy think I need some haribo to calm me down………..

  5. Wedding, honeymoon, birthday, PS4 releases, anniversary, XMas then new year. Awesome!

Although on topic, this should be expected considering the timeframe. Wouldn’t expect any different for the XB1 either

  6. Mine’s in that second box from the top on that left stack – I hope.

  7. Looks like they are well under way with production, it’s all getting very real now! :)

  8. A very good japanese product being made in factory in China…

  9. Give me mine now please.

  10. At least it’s real pictures of real production units, not the fake pictures that Microsoft posted, the ones Majornelson posted which had stickers on them saying they were not retail units (the picture was quietly replaced with a similar one with the labeled wording doctored)
