d3t have announced Lemmings Touch, a new version of the evergreen suicide franchise specifically for the PlayStation Vita.
“We’ve spent endless days working on a new presentation of the in-game HUD to make sure you have the perfect interface for Lemmings command and control,” said Jamie Campbell, Commercial Director at d3t Ltd. “A pop-up radial menu frees up screen space so you can spend more time drooling over the magnificent landscapes that have been created to make the most out of that luscious PS Vita screen.”
With 100 new levels, a new interface and objects to use including cannons and trampolines d3t say that “a Lemmings game has never played and looked as good as this. Never, ever, ever before.”
They also tease an additional twist, “Not all Lemmings are quite what they seem!”

Looks quite good. It reminds me of the good old days playing this back in the nineties.

The Lemmings themselves look a bit poor compared to the backgrounds, but it may look brilliant in motion. I’m interested, now it just needs to not be overpriced.
