I leave the country for a day and a half, and I come back to this miserable, cold, wet and dark place. When I left it was all sunny! Well, that’ll teach me to go swanning off, won’t it?
Aww, nobody sent anything in this week. That makes me sad, but on the plus side, I got a box full of Kit Kats!
So this was a strange one, where I had a little bet going with TomHLord on whether it would be Battlefield 4 or Bad Company 3 next out of the door from DICE. This bet was made quite a while ago, to the extent that I’d almost completely forgotten about it until a giant box of Kit Kat Chunkys arrived for me.
Tom’s a silly boy, but he’s alright in my books!

Everyone’s brushing through the last few trophies of some game or other ahead of GTA V’s release, going by what many of you said. We kick off with Youles, who finished his Survivor run through of The Last of Us, and nipped through the first third of Survivor+ in a kind of speed run attempt, on his way to the platinum.
Taylor Made finished off The Walking Dead on PS Vita (alongside a fastest shout), something which Youles is also doing, but is now closing in on the Spec Ops: The Line platinum. That’s a game which Bambo_19 took the top honours for this last week, as well as NFS: Most Wanted.
Jimmy-Google finished off the first Jak & Daxter game on PS Vita, but he’s postponing 2 and 3 until he can finish Killzone: Mercenary, while tactical20 enjoyed his time with Mini Ningas and inFamous: Festival of Blood… though not so much with Kane & Lynch 2, which he still powered through to finish three games this week.
Gaffers101 has been pushing hard through his PS+ backlog, with the platinum from Kingdoms of Amalur, and blast71 is getting pretty close to the platinum of Batman: Arkham City, just finishing off a few side missions, after completing the main story.
Speaking of which, Avenger is after some competent partners to help out with the Soul Sacrifice platinum. He’s just a shade away, needing one final trophy, but needs a good crew alongside him to complete this one final mission.
And speaking of final missions, ron_mcphatty needs to do one final speed run of Metal Gear Solid 4 to get the platinum, to sit beside his shiny Sonic Generations trophy. R1MJAW is also grinding through multiple runs of Diablo 3, working his way up to a full level 60 character along the way.
Finally, Samiro05 has played and earned the fastest platinum trophy for a game called One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2. I have no idea what it is, but it sounds amazing.

Haha OK thanks. Well seriously any help is good help. I seem to remember you got the platinum yourself, so you might remember the dual illecebra quest that I’m stuck on. I have a german friend who might be up for a support role, she fights well.

A few days ago, I reached level 100 in Payday 2. Thank the gods as it’s now been patched and the XP system is broken! (PC version) Anyone looking to get it on Steam might want to give it a few days. New patch arriving tomorrow/today (read: Monday).
Best of luck with the KitKats, fella. Enjoy them slowly so they don’t put you off them for life! :-)
