Ubisoft Details Assassin’s Creed IV DLC Plans

Sure, the game itself may still be a month away, but that hasn’t stopped Ubisoft from releasing the first details of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag’s post-launch DLC over on the PlayStation Blog.

The biggest chunk of DLC takes the form of a new three-hour single-player story titled Freedom Cry. The “downloadable episode” will focus on the Jackdaw’s deck officer Adewale, telling the slavery-centric story of his ending up on Edward Kenway’s crew, as well as following him after the events of Black Flag, as he attempts to build up the resistance in Haiti.

[videoyoutube]Ubisoft have also announced Black Flag’s all-but-inevitable season pass, offering new multiplayer characters, new single-player missions, various weapons and costumes, alongside the Freedom Cry pack. There’s also a new trailer for the exclusive content in the PS3 and PS4 versions of Black Flag, which we’ve kindly embedded just to the side there, because we’re nice like that.

  1. Every time I read anything related to AC my brain shuts off. The same feeling as when you lose an erection. Just oh… meh.

AC3 just ruined the series for me.

    • You could try Viagra but the only problem with that is by the time the drug starts working she’s usually wriggled free. :P

      • Just make sure she’s drugged first and she shouldn’t be wriggling away for a couple of hours at least. :)
But back to reality… AC3 has pretty much ruined the series for me too. I want to be running around in nice scenic landscapes rather than snowy bare forests or sailing ships and shooting cannons.

  2. I dont get why they are releasing on PS4 on 22nd if the console isnt out until a week later…. Confused
