Podcast Episode 116 – Pixel This! GTA Online and FBP

Apologies for the late arrival of this week’s podcast. Kris asked me to post it this week, I agreed and then completely forgot about it. Still, it’s here now and it’s sure to entertain and amuse you. Well, perhaps that’s raising expectations a little too much. It’s alright, I suppose.

Anyway, this week we talked a bit about GTA Online now that we can all play it without any (or many, at least) problems. Then we talked a bit about Pixel This! a picross puzzle game for iOS. Kris told us a bit about an interesting run of books that started life as Collider and quickly became FBP. I’ve started reading it since he spoke about them and I can say that I’m enjoying the series very much. It’s just the right amount of weird for my liking.

We had our usual quiz and some great reader questions this week – helped along by the relatively young TSAPodcast twitter account, which enables you to have input on the show as we’re recording it.

  • Please send us questions via email to podcasts[at]thesixthaxis.com.
  • You can also tag your questions on Twitter with #tsacast or send them to @TSAPodcast.
  • Finally, as usual, there’s a questions thread in the forum.

This podcast features strong language, jokes in poor taste and adult themes, if you’re offended by that then we recommend that you don’t listen to it at all.

  • As usual, you can grab the MP3 file here (right click to download).
  • You might want to get it (when the RSS catches us) on the RSS feed, here.
  • Or we’re on iTunes, when iTunes feels like updating. You can also leave us a review and subscribe there, if you want to be particularly lovely.

  1. Too bad the TSA podcast are so short :( enjoyed this one very much, well done guys as per week, but enough of the applause – how could you guys don’t know the currency in Poland, your tries made so laugh xD!

Back to the podcast topics: wasn’t the Mad Catz headphone brand called Tritton or something? I’m personally thinking about their fight pads, the SFxTekken versions. I’m rubish at Street Fighter, but I find the SFIV title very well made and I hope they will help me to get at least a bit better.

  2. damn you, damn you all to hell. >_<

why'd you have to mention Cookie Clicker?

you should have known i'd become obsessed.

when i start having cookie nightmares, i'm blaming you lot.

  3. I have not tried Cookie Clicker yet, but there is a big blue Cookie monster lurking around in the darkest corner of my house.
