Awesomenauts: Assemble Hits PS4 On Launch Day

Ronimo Games has announced that Awesomenauts: Assemble will launch on November 15th for PlayStation 4.

It will be available via the new PSN Store for $9.99, matching PC digital distribution platform, Steam.

The side-scrolling MOBA originally launched last year on PS3 before coming to PC. Since then there have been a number of new updates including additional characters, modes, and other refinements.

As far as we know, the PS4 version won’t include any exclusive, next-gen features. One thing it will (eventually) have is the recently-funded Starstorm expansion, crammed with five new playable characters and a new battleground.

We reviewed the original Awesomenauts last year, praising the game for its simple yet meaty mechanics and systems. It’s a great entry point for anyone looking to finally get into the MOBA genre, combining the genre’s core tenets with accessible, fast-paced, side-scrolling combat.
