Blockbuster’s latest dip into administration has, aside from the terrible news for all of the employees caught in the shuttering of a once major business, left quite people in the lurch with their next generation pre-orders.
For a little while it seemed that anyone who had their pre-order with Blockbuster would lose out, as heading into administration meant that they would not be able to fulfill the orders themselves. Thankfully, Sony and Microsoft have both been able to step in and help.
If you have a pre-order with Blockbuster, you need to head to this webpage and fill in the relevant details, in order to allow Blockbuster to verify and pass your information on to Sony and Microsoft and their partners. This applies whether you have been able to get a refund or not, as you will be able to restore your pre-order and day one status with the manufacturers.
The important thing is that you do this at the very soonest possible moment, as the window closes at 23:59PM on Thursday 7th November. That’s tomorrow night, so hurry up!
