Call of Duty Ghosts may have just released this week, but you won’t be able to play it on your PS4 until the 29th of November. If you haven’t picked up a copy yet, then we’ve got you sorted, as we’ve teamed up with musicMagpie to offer the chance for one of you to win the Hardened Edition of the game on PS4.
Before we get to our competition, musicMagpie are running their own, with the top prize of a PlayStation 4 and the Hardened Edition of Ghosts, a second prize of the Hardened Edition on PS4 and a third place prize of a standard copy of Ghosts on PS4. It’s very easy to enter, and you can either do that by entering on their Facebook page or through their blog. Their competition closes on December 6th, so you’ve got plenty of time to enter.
However, here on TSA we’ll make things very simple for you to win the Hardened Edition of the game on PS4. All you have to do is drop a comment in the comments section below saying what your favourite Call of Duty moment was, be that online or in a single player campaign.
For example, my favourite moment in Call of Duty is the time I spent playing Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare online with a group of friends from early afternoon on a Friday until early morning on Saturday. I’m not sure I’ll ever recapture that magic with online gaming, and it was just amazing.
The competition will close at 23:59PM GMT on Wednesday 20th November, and we’ll pick a random winner to be announced a day or two later. The winner will be contacted via the email they used to sign up to TSA with, so keep an eye on that if you do enter.
As per usual, TSA’s terms and conditions apply and in this case the competition is open to the UK only. Again, the competition closes for entry on Wednesday 20th of November at 23:59 GMT. The copy of the game will be sent out before the launch of the PS4, but please allow a few days for delivery.
Good luck!

My favourite Call of Duty moment was playing special ops missions in Modern Warfare 2 with a mate, up against a juggernaut in the boneyard. My mate was bleeding out, and I’d run out of bullets. Very tense knife-fight!

Favourite COD moment was one Boxing Day at my brothers house. The house was always packed & all the boys were playing on the ps3,. Various games to please everyone. One lad, we’ll call him Jon, as that’s his name, was only interested in playing COD. So when it was decided that enough 4 player split screen COD had been played for the time, Jon decided he needed some sleep. He promptly fell asleep in the chair he’d been playing. Eventually, 5 hours, various games, food & beer later, everyone was ready for the next COD sesh, and just as the game booted up Jon awoke from his slumber – perfect timing!

Has to be my first introduction to the “new” era of Call of Duty. That opening scene where you’re captured and driven through town, leading up to the the execution.
Actual gameplay moment (versus essentially a cut-scene) definitely the Chernobyl mission, probably one of the best gaming stages this gen.

Nothing will beat playing knives only for hours with friends all night. Nothing is better than throwing a knife out of sight and hearing a friend sigh as you hit him in the face.

My best COD moment was the “All Ghillied up” mission in COD4. In Pripyat with Price and MacMillan, assassinating Zakhaev!

I remember having a real sense of fear and excitement when played COD 4 modern warfare on the one shot one kill level for the first time, from that long range sniper shot to the escape and taking on all the hordes of russians at the ferris wheel it’s the best level on a FPS I have ever played.

My favorite memories of CoD (since MW2) are organizing map walkthroughs. A group of my clanmates get together and wander the maps like tourists, getting familiar with the layouts and coming up with names for key spots for shout outs and warnings etc.

For me nothing beats planting the Russian flag at Reichstag in World at War. Russians, Gary Oldman and defeated Nazi’s. It was just a great feeling!

Favourite CoD Moment…
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Team Deathmatch on Pipeline (with friendly fire on). My mate, being the joker that he is, thinks it’d be funny to shoot me with an RPG. Explosive headshot promptly followed as well as copious amounts of laughter.
Totally unprovoked attack, and to this day, I’ve still yet to get him back…

my favourite CoD game, or rather the best time I ever had with one, was the Campaign in Modern Warefare 2! They did such an amazing job with the story and when Ghost died it really left an empty pit in my heart for a while… Great game, AWESOME ending as well!
