Blizzard have released a number of screens from the PlayStation 4 version of Diablo III.
Named the Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition, the PS4 version allows you to take on the role of one of six powerful character classes— Barbarian, Demon Hunter, Monk, Witch Doctor, Wizard, or the all-new Crusader. The PS4 title also includes new features found in the Reaper of Souls DLC including Bounties, Adventure Mode and Nephalem Rifts, formerly known as Loot Runs.

Do trophys carry over from ps3 to ps4 or is it a new trophy list

Various websites that list trophies are listing PS3 and PS4 versions of several games as separate sets of trophies. Not like some of the Vita games that share a trophy set with the PS3 version (although some have separate PS3 and Vita trophies, even when you get both versions included in the price).
Which would suggest Diablo 3 gets a new set of trophies on the PS4.
But then that’d go horribly wrong if you can transfer your PS3 characters over to the PS4. You’d have massively overpowered characters. Would the trophies for reaching levels 10, 30 and 60 pop instantly? Would progress towards some of the others carry over? Or would you have to start again on those trophies for getting 5,000,000 gold and killing 100 of those bloody treasure goblins.
The Platinum trophy for the PS3 version is kind of stupidly easy to earn anyway (apart from the grinding time to collect all that gold). A whole new trophy set with extra trophies for the DLC could be quite fun, and start with a new character.

No news on the DLC coming to the PS3 version yet. Which is a bit annoying. Release PS3 version, less than 2 months later, announce PS4 version with the DLC and the option to transfer PS3 characters, but nothing on the PS3 getting the DLC.
Or a cheap upgrade to the PS4 version would work too. Although that would seem to involve a code with the PS3 version to allow you to pay for the upgrade. Although you need to have the PS3 disc in the PS4 anyway, don’t you? I guess it stops you buying a used PS3 version and upgrading that. No upgrade option means I’ll just have to sell my PS3 copy (I hadn’t even decided on getting a PS4 yet at the time I bought it) and get a PS4 version, if the DLC doesn’t come to the PS3.

Not too impressed by the screens. Not sure if it was the same for that particular area in the PC version for atmospheric reasons but the draw distance is the worst I’ve seen in ages.
