Domain Registered Referring To The Last Of Us Movie

Let’s be honest, Naughty Dog and movie adaptions haven’t had the best of starts to a relationship, with the Uncharted movie sitting in some sort of limbo as ideas are thrown about on how to adapt the game franchise for the big screen. The already awful idea of having it revolve around a family has been scrapped, and now we don’t know the true status of it.

So rumours revolving around The Last Of Us movie is interesting to think about after a domain registration, www.thelastofus-movie.com, hinting at a film was spotted. At the moment this could be anything from Sony merely protecting a potential future idea, something that is in pre-production or, as we’ve seen time and again with such registrations, a hoax.

Sony are yet to comment on the registration, so in the mean time speculation is our only tool. If a The Last Of Us movie was to go ahead then who would you like to see starring? And, yes, the obvious choice is Ellen Page for Ellie.

  1. I wonder how much of this sort of thing is just Sony protecting rights so if someone else came up with a film far too similar

It seems most of this never comes to anything

    • Let’s hope that’s the case.

  3. But we already have I Am Legend & people will say it’s a rip & on & on you get me

    • I Am Legend?

No, The Last of Us isn’t much like that at all beyond being a story based on what are zombies in all but name, with survivors.

I’d say TLoU is much closer to 28 Days Later than most other zombie movies.

      • I disagree it’s more I am legend/The road.
