Namco Bandai has announced a new entry to the Tales series, Tales Of Zestiria, in celebration of the franchise’s 20th anniversary. Namco also announced that since its inception the Tales franchise has sold 16 million copies of the various games around the world.
The 20th anniversary doesn’t actually occur until 2015 so it is likely Zestiria will launch in that year, and it will see a worldwide release. Mutsumi Inomata, Kosuke Fujishima, Daigo Okumura, and Minoru Iwamoto will be handling character designs, while Ufotable Inc are once again making the game’s cutscenes. Their work in Tales Of Xillia was gorgeous.

I’ve never played a Tales game but have always been intrigued by them. Cam close to buying Graces F but it was too expensive on the PSN store. What are they most comparable to?
Aran Suddi
The best direct comparision is probably Final Fantasy XII in terms of style, with monsters roaming the worlds instead of hidden random encounters.
