An Eyeball Popping Sniper Elite 3 Trailer

Rebellion has released a new trailer for Sniper Elite 3, the World War II-set sequel to Sniper Elite V2.

The game takes place in the Western Desert in North Africa (the trailer visits Tobruk, Libya), following the story of American OSS Agent Karl Fairburne.

This new trailer shows a bullet smashing in to an enemy’s skull and popping an eyeball in rather graphic detail.

Sniper Elite 3 will be a cross generation title releasing on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC in 2014.

  1. Haven’t played either of the previous titles but i’m really excited for this. Must be Youles’ golden oppinion of V2

    • I loved V2, thought it was excellent, and the support was good since the developers paid for the multiplayer to be added later on.

It still doesn’t appear to be the best looking game, although it looks a hell of a lot better than the original announcement/launch trailer! Looking forward to seeing some gameplay.

Co-op was a lot of fun!

      • Agreed, this trailer looks way ahead of that original announcement trailer with what looked like a PS3 Jeep with PS2 scenery and PS1 animation!
        Very promising now.

      • Tef and I played through co-op and it was very enjoyable. Equally, this looks great and a fair old notch-up from the older titles. However, I have to wonder who “gets off” on seeing the skull shattered and the eyeball popping when shooting the enemy.

I hate how the gaming industry does itself no favours sometimes. Still… count me in! :-)

      • Same. I loved V2 but never got around to playing co-op properly as I couldn’t find a decent partner. Looking forward to this!

  2. Oh deary me.

  3. Yep, never played one but will be getting this on PS4

  4. Enjoyed the first one up until the mission in the underground factory where it became more of a shooter than a sniper game. Got stuck for ages and gave up…

  5. PS4? Sold. :)

  6. Happy to see this coming to PS4. It should be very pretty.
