New Witcher 3 Screens Show A World Of Detailed Violence

A trio of Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt screens have been released by CD Projekt Red, and they show a few different scenes, all of which look incredible showing off the world that Geralt will be traversing. I really like what Witcher 2 did in terms of story and gameplay, and the screens below just make me that much more excited.

One of the screens show Geralt in a city about to intervene in what appears to be either a mugging or just a random street brawl, while the other two show Geralt on horseback. One of those shots sees him passing through  a scene of a small fight with corpses strewn about, while the other appears to show a group heading away from a burning village or town. I can’t wait to play a massive RPG on the new generation as I’m a huge fan of the genre, so I’m pretty likely to be picking this up when it releases at some point this year.

  1. I really cant wait for this to come out. Need a really good RPG in my life. They need to give a release date though.

  2. The way he carries 2 swords on his back is badass.

I’m hoping they do a PS4 collection of the other Witcher games. Slightly off topic but does anyone know if theres any sign of a Metro: Last Light PS4 conversion? Just DL’d it on PS3 and I’m wondering if I should wait..

    • Doubtful as 4A have moved on from the Metro series now. It’s a fantastic game on PS3.

      • Sounds unlikely then. I played through the first bit and it looked great, just had that next-gen niggle if you know what I mean.

      • Same here. I’m a PS4 snob now. Played it for about 30mins then gave up and it was back on the PS4.

  3. Have a feeling this is going to be amazing, looking forward to it. I wonder how it will compare to Dragon Age 3. I can see myself buying both on release.

  4. I never really got on with witcher. I tried a few times and pumped a lot of hours into it but no joy. Maybe one final try…

  5. Graphically it looks very impressive. I hope that the gameplay holds up to a similar standard.

  6. I need this game in my face.

    • Have you managed to build & integrate a PS4 around your head?
