Larry Hryb, aka Major Nelson, has updated his blog to reveal the next two games that will be available for free for those who have an Xbox LIVE Gold account. So what games will be available following Sleeping Dogs and Lara Croft & The Guardian Of Light? If you haven’t already read the headline here’s the line up.
From tomorrow, February 1st, Dead Island will be available on the service until the 15th after which it will be replaced with Toy Soldiers: Cold War, though there seems to be some free companion available to download for free on Xbox SmartGlass. The description doesn’t actually say what is contained though.
So there you have it Gold members of LIVE, that’s your content for February.

Much better. Haven’t heard of Toy Soldiers but I wouldn’t mind playing Dead Island.

Toy Soldiers is a great game – one of the best Live Arcade titles.

On the one hand….Ha! XBox Live is still a worse value proposition than PS+ by a long stretch.
On the other…I fully expect Microsoft to be at least as good as PS+ sometime soon.
Still, why do I need Live to watch Netflix..?!
