David Banner, who was keen to point out that he’s not the Hulk, took to the EU PlayStation Blog yesterday to announce the release date of Wales Interactive’s sci-fi horror game on PS3. It is set to launch on February 19th.
Master Reboot send you off to the Soul Cloud, a server farm where you memories can be saved and revisited. The game starts as you are uploaded to the cloud upon your death, but something’s gone just that little bit wrong and you have to figure out who and where you are as you explore the servers. Of course, you’re also hunted by eerie little girls with glowing eyes.
Blair reviewed the PC release last year, giving it a 6/10 and stating that there wasn’t anything truly new and it didn’t quite live up to his expectations from the core concept. Having said that, there was a good balance between the horror and puzzle elements, combined with an interesting art style and plenty of variation in the locations.
