The new PlayStation Vita Slim has been confirmed for release in North America, and it will be coming as part of the Borderlands 2 Limited Edition bundle.  A solid release date is yet to be confirmed but it will be at some point in the next couple of months. The bundle itself will include a PS Vita Slim in black, Borderlands 2 with six pieces of DLC, which are Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty, Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, Psycho Character Class, Mechromancer Character Class, Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1 and the Collector’s Edition Pack. There will also be an 8GB memory card included and it will all cost $199.99.
It’s unclear whether this same bundle will make its way to European shores, but if it did and it was priced sensibly then I could see it being very popular over here. At the very least it would garner some more interest in Sony’s handheld as Borderlands is quite the popular franchise. If you had access to this bundle and didn’t own a Vita would this be of interest to you?

IF I didn’t own a vita already, I’d be buying it at release. Just hope that, when borderlands 2 is released on vita, it comes with all the DLC too. Otherwise, it may be time for that second vita anyway!

So not all the DLC comes with the game then? Missing out the Sir Hammerlock one (which wasn’t too bad) and Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep (which was the best of them – at least, I think it was the best of all the DLC, including all the stuff released for the first game as well)
And it’s missing all the little bits they’ve been doing. The halloween/thanksgiving/christmas and the next one coming soon.
Having said that, if I didn’t have a Vita and hadn’t played far too much of BL2, it’d be very tempting. Except for the fact that a FPS isn’t really a good match for a handheld console. A tiny screen and those flimsy feeling sticks aren’t ideal. (I’m having the opposite problem with the PS4 though. Those DS4 sticks are far too stiff. How Sony get everything so right about the PS4, and make it such an improvement on the PS3, and yet managed to go backwards on the controller, I don’t know)

Is it just me that think it’s weird we’ve heard nothing about this game since it was announced to be a thing, and now it’s in a bundle? How about some trailers, previews and so on?
Germanos
Bought Borderlands 2 GOTY for the PS3 recently so I will skip the Vita release. Would still like to see how it performs on the portable console and how they implemented Vita specific controls to the game.

Hope it does well.Anything to give Vita a shot in the arm is no bad thing.
No, i don’t own a Vita and never been into Borderlands, so to answer question, personally i’d pass, but it’s great to see attempts like this being made to boost Vita sales.

I would rather purchase the original PS Vita and just buy BL2 if i really felt like I needed it. I already own it on PS3 but havent played it since the new headhunter packs were being released during 2013.
