Off screen footage of Borderlands 2 running on the PlayStation Vita has been captured at GDC and it looks like the game could do with a little more polish.
You can see in the video above that the frame rate is a little wobbly and occasionaly freezes, something that been confirmed by IGN.
They report that the game “ran somewhat sluggishly, held back by a subpar framerate, and it even froze in place a couple of times for a second or two when there wasn’t even that much action going on on-screen.”
Hopefully these issues can be improved before release which is scheduled for this spring.

Looks like I made the right choice to pick the GOTY edition for PS3. I don’t think they will be able to fix those issues, as the release date is kind of close.

They haven’t announced a release date. Plus it’s not finished product, to me looks & plays normal, the loading time are just as bad as console 30 seconds

Ow, I thought the release date is set to: spring 2014 (read it somewhere else today).
Tuffcub
Its scheduled for “Spring” – which is anything up until May.
Avenger
Which means there is loads of time before the game goes gold. Looks good at this stage though.

BL2 can get pretty manic at times I was expecting there to be some problems like this unless they tone a lot of it down.

Such a strange thing to mention something needing work when there are people working on it. :-\

It’s a bit like walking up to a guy digging up the road to let him know that there’s a bit of a pothole there…
Tuffcub
And if I had not mentioned it people would be like “EUGH! IT LOOKS CRAP!”

No worries, fella. Probably me being sensitive to the wording. Felt a bit obvious but, as you say, needs spelling out.
