Blimey, is it that time already? This week flew by, although maybe I just think that because my sleeping pattern is non-existent right now with work on my dissertation ongoing. Anyway, let’s hope I don’t fall asleep at the keyboard and manage to deliver this week’s Community Round-Up!

Just a very quick reminder that you need to get your entries in tomorrow at 6pm if you’re entering the Dead Nation Challenge as part of TSA’s Plus Points Championship. It’s really easy to enter, and you could be winning yourself a £10 PSN Voucher plus some valuable points for the leaderboard.
There aren’t any Meets scheduled right now, so why not hop on over the Meets page and create one yourself?
I’ve popped home for the weekend and accidentally forgot to bring the template with me that I use to create the banners, so I’ll just use last week’s one and let you pretend Big Boss has morphed into Mario, okay?

Perfect!
We’ll start with Dan Lee, who previewed Mario Golf: World Tour for the 3DS, and has been “totally hooked”, which is always good to hear.
On to the Reviews, and Stefan gave a 7/10 to the PC point & click game, 1954: Alcatraz, before looking at BioShock Infinite’s Burial At Sea Episode 2 DLC, which wraps up the franchise as Irrational are now to be disbanding.
In the other Reviews, Jim gave a 7/10 to the hack n’ slash Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends for PS4, while Aran gave a 5/10 to the disappointing The Witch And The Hundred Knight.
Sharing their opinions about two recently released games, Peter spoke about the choices players face in inFamous Second Son, while Jim explained why he thought Titanfall’s weapon shortage isn’t a bad thing at all.
Offering a bit more depth to Assassin’s Creed’s cross-generation plans, Stefan shared his thoughts about it, and also jumped in to offer a more balanced opinion of the Oculus-Facebook affair.
Aran this week took a look at Kane and Lynch Dead Men in a Matter of Perspective, while Jim was on Mobile Watch with Lionheart Tactics, a turn-based RPG for iOS. Also this week, he looked at where it all began for Drake in the very first Uncharted, in PlayBack.
On the Community side of things, Battlefield 4 received a very mixed Verdict with 7 Buy Its and 5 Avoid Its, while Splinter Cell: Blacklist is the new game for this week. The Chronicle talked about the future of Assassin’s Creed and Virtual Reality, a topic which I bet will reappear again in tomorrow’s Hot Topics following Facebook’s acquisition of Oculus.
The Podcast was two men down this week, although thankfully Stefan stepped in to join Kris and Kev in Episode 134, while What We Played #149 featured Trials Fusion, FFX HD and inFamous.

The Forums are once again showing signs of life, which is excellent to see!
- McProley (and others) wish a very happy birthday to Youles!
- Meanwhile Youles is almost too busy looking for people to play COD Extinction with to celebrate.
- With April only 3 days away, McProley guesses what gaming-related april fools we can expect.
- Lastly, and on a more serious note, Blair could do with a hand with his dissertation by filling out his survey.
That’s it for another week. Happy Mother’s Day to any mothers out there for tomorrow, and for those of you who aren’t mothers then don’t forget about it, I very nearly did! Anyway, I’ll see you in 7 day’s time, bye!

That’ll just be the usual TGMEM6 Monday evening gathering, although not scheduled always occuring pending PSN’s occasional heavy Monday maintenance ;)
Lieutenant Fatman
I have my score in for the Dead Nation challenge, managed over 4 million, wooo! Doesn’t seem like many have taken part in this one, not sure why.
