Tales From The Borderlands is something that no one expected before it was revealed last year. Gearbox and Telltale getting together to create a episodic game based on the world of Pandora just seems so out there, but from what has been shown so far it looks like a promising title. After all the Borderlands games are fun, and Telltale’s own output has been very good and the studio knows how to craft great stories. Now Telltale has released the first screenshots.
The pictures show two instances of where players can make a dialogue choice, both by Fiona, and the third appears to show Rhys controlling a robot to fight a bandit. The images themselves look very crisp and have that Telltale feel to them. The studio also confirmed that any loot found in Tales From The Borderlands will be able to use in other games in the series, and that there will be a Season Pass to get access to all the episodes. The choices of what you do will also have an impact on how the story plays out, which we already know is told in a way that players can’t really trust the narrative given by the two central characters.
