New The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Trailer Is Just Stunning, Release Date Is February 24th

CDProjekt Red has gone and released a new trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and simply put it looks amazing, and a date of arrival for Geralt and company has been pinned for February 24th 2015. The above trailer shows a mix of cut scenes and gameplay from facing off against monsters to some sailing and swimming, as well as some more adult entertainment. This is only a glimpse of what the developer hopes to achieve with the Witcher 3, and the added time looks like it will add a whole layer of polish.

Of course it all looks amazing but trailers do occasionally show things that look better than they really are. If the above footage is what the game will look like on PS4 and Xbox One then we’re in for a real visual treat. Even if it doesn’t quite reach those heights I have faith in CDProjekt Red. The Witcher 2 looked fantastic on Xbox 360, and pushed the console to its limit. Personally this is the game I’ve been looking forward to getting my hands on most, so I can’t wait for February.

  1. Looks incredible. Ive always wanted to play a Witcher game. 2015 is going to be an amazing year for gaming!

  2. Wasn’t high on my list so far, but this really looks impressive. Am sceptical of trailers too, but this is one of the better ones I’ve seen recently, got me interested for sure.

  3. Absolutely cannot wait for this. Pre-ordered the collectors edition shortly after last night’s conference. Just a tip for those looking to treat themselves, Amazon are selling it for £120, £20 cheaper than GAME

  4. My biggest concern with Witcher 3, is which platform I’m going to get it on…. pah what am I saying, likely as not I’ll be getting it on all 3…..

*goes to pre-order the PC version*

  5. I haven’t played any of the Witcher games before but like Skyrim last generation, this looks like something to be excited about.
