It appears a lot of development documents have leaked regarding the development of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, including the various endings of the game, and what differences the Xbox One and PS4 releases will have. As I’m looking forward to the game, as I know many of you are, I am refusing to read any of the spoilers and so will not be publishing them here. Just beware of any links you may click regarding the game for the next while as these spoilers are out in the open.
However, since the way the game will be played on either console won’t ruin the story here’s what will apparently be happening. On Xbox One The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt looks like it could be using the Kinect for voice commands, while SmartGlass will also feature with what appears to be a commentary mode. There’s no extension on what that means and it could be anything from additional information about characters and locations, to full on developer commentary. The PS4 version may use the DS4’s light in some fashion, though things like the camera and the touch pad aren’t commented on.
One more leak referring to the game is a portion of the map. Again it doesn’t contain story spoilers but if you don’t want to see it then click away now.
For the rest of you the below portion of map looks at the island of Ard Skelig, part of the Skellige Islands. The island group alone is set to be 64 square kilometers, and is not the only part of the world map.

I had a look at a stylized map of the entire games’ world, and it’s massive. Although that much has been known.
I wonder if you can travel to the smaller Isles as well? That’d be rather cool, wind waker style.

I did not know it was set in the Skelligs, i expected a fantasy location so that is pretty cool.
