   Will there be a new batch of games added to the sale for the PS3/Vita after the current list expires on the 8th or is that it? Because techincally if the sale started on the 30th July and finishes on 20th August, that’s only 21 days (even if it does run over four individual weeks).

   When I first read about the 4 week Summer sale, I thought we might get new content for each of the four weeks. My wallet will be happy if we aren’t.

     After AC Liberation & Arkham Blackgate last week, I was hoping for Far Cry Classic this week All the other Far Cry games are on sale, and it’s pretty much the last PS3 game I still need to play through.

   Anyone got any feedback on whether Pinball Arcade: Season 1 Bundle is worth buying?
   I’ve never been that big on pinball but thought this may be a bit of a laugh if there’s a few people round having a beer.
   Also, what’s the difference between Pinball Arcade: Season 1 Bundle & the Pinball Arcade: Season 1 Bundle ‘PRO’ version?

     You get 22 tables (well, 1 of them is free anyway) for your £6.49, £11.99 or £15.99. That’s before the PS+ discount. And obviously the £6.49 one isn’t the option for you (that’s the option for people who bought all the season 1 table packs on PS3/Vita)

     The tables vary greatly in how much fun they are. Unlike Zen Pinball (which is also lots of fun, in a different way), they’re all properly licensed real tables. Some are quite old, and they tend to be quite a challenge (massive gaps between the flippers). Some are newer with all sorts of fancy modes. There’s none I absolutely hate, but some I like more than others (Star Trek, Monster Bash, Creature from the Black Lagoon and Funhouse, with it’s really, really creepy head).

     The Pro bundle gives you all the pro upgrades (which might not be available on every table). Gives you access to the “operators menu” and other features. Cheats, basically. Which stops you getting high scores, obviously. Or at least stops them counting.

     I wouldn’t bother with that option, but the normal bundle is excellent value. £11.99 for 21 tables? 57p each? 51p each with PS+? How can you go wrong? I guess you could realise you don’t like pinball. But if you do, it’s a bargain. I’ve spent hours on it. And obviously quite a lot of money (those table packs soon add up)

       Zen Pinball is cross buy BUT only if you buy the PS3/Vita versions. Buy those, and you get the PS4 version. Buy the PS4 version, you only get the PS4 version.

       And guess which version the discounts apply to?

       Pinball Arcade tables are only PS3/Vita cross-buy. You don’t get the PS4 version. But you can get that discount bundle if you own all the season 1 tables on PS3/Vita.

       I think it’s the full game, it asked whether to download single player or multiplayer first.
       It said on the store 78GB! (Ish) but the download has split into two 7GBs and then the updates which I can’t remember

       Well sir, I would consider yourself very lucky in that case – I took a look when I got home, but all i could see was overpriced versions.
