Talion Makes A Strange Alliance In New Shadow Of Mordor Trailer

Monolith’s latest Shadow of Mordor video is a bit tongue in cheek. Dropping the severe tone of past trailers, this latest series of clips focuses on Talion’s unlikely companion, the yellow-bellied orc, Ratbag.

Cowardly yet conniving, he is willing to do just about anything to rise through the ranks, even if that means allying with his sworn enemy. It’s not as if Talion has much choice either, finding himself alone in Sauron’s dark kingdom, along with the wraith Celebrimbor and other Middle Earth cameos.

Ratbag certainly looks set to deliver some comic relief during player’s travels through Mordor. Not only that, he will act as a guide to Uruk society and can even engage in a bit of skulduggery.

Shadow of Mordor is will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 on September 30th.
