Velocity 2X is out today for PS4 and PS Vita. If you don’t know what it is, then essentially it’s a top-down shooter and 2D platforming hybrid – a sequel to Velocity on PS Minis and Velocity Ultra on PS3/Vita – which will make you use your brain to solve the teleportation-heavy levels. It’s quite brilliant.
In our review, we scored it 10/10 and stated that it “only gets better and better as you progress” and praised how it builds upon the gameplay of its predecessor as well as the wonderful visual style and sound design. This is more than your usual indie game, clearly, and it’s available free for PlayStation Plus subscribers right now.

TSA dudes, I can’t see the embedded video on my iphone, is it on your YouTube channel? Only played an hour of the game on my vita but so far it’s brilliant, I did not expect it to be so addictive especially going for perfect scores which seem just hard enough to be doable and satisfying. Great game.
