A Barrage Of Battlefield Bargains Hit The Latest PS Store Sale

Almost as regularly as we see store updates themselves, we now see fresh savings and special offers popping up on the PlayStation Store. This time around, there’s a handful of new Deals of the Week, featuring Octodad, Tales of Symphonia Chronicles, Urban Trial Freestyle and Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F, but these come alongside a veritable bonanza of Battlefield discounts.

While there’s savings across the board, the stand out offer is with the latest in the franchise as Battlefield 4 is now at £24.99/€29.99 on PS4 and £19.99/€24.99 on PS3. All the DLC is on offer too, but the Battlefield 4 Premium bundle is certainly quite tempting at the much lowered price of £15.99/€19.99 on PS4 and £11.99/€14.99 on PS3, as long as you can grab a few mates together and head into the fray in a squad. There’s also a 10% PS+ discount.

Edit: Apparently, if you buy the PS3 version of Battlefield 4 Premium and get the PS4 version for free, regardless of which versions you own or use. So if this is tickling your fancy, make sure to grab the cheaper PS3 version, to save yourself another few quid.

  1. The edit is slightly confusing, but I assume it’s meant to mean that if you bought bf4 on ps3 and upgraded you can in turn purchase the ps3 premium and use it on ps4. However, if you purchased bf4 on the ps4 it’s not possible, and you need to buy the ps4 premium?

I need clarity before I snap that deal up! Wouldn’t mind saving a fiver ;)

    • It seems to work like cross-buy, so when I bought the PS3 version via a web browser, checking the download list then showed an entry for both PS3 and PS4. Though I have the digital version of the game on both platforms, my understanding is this is not dependent on owning the game one way or the other.

There’s a good few people confirming this on the HotUKDeals thread for it, and a reader said so to me on twitter, so there’s plenty of people having luck on this front!

      • Thanks Stefan. I’ll be picking this up tonight then :) excellent price.

  2. Also, I can finally get BFBC2 Vietnam to 100% the trophies!
