Good news, football fans who would rather not disable UPnP on their router – FIFA 15 will receive a patch soon to fix the stuttering issues, which plague many PS4 copies of the games and make it appear as though it’s lagging even in a single player match.
Other adjustments have been made to shooting and goalkeepers as well as difficulty. It’s about time this patch is coming, as it’s been a month since release and the issue is still not yet fixed. There’s no telling when exactly it’ll be live, though. The full patch notes and changes, via the EA Forums, are below.
– Adjustments and improvements to shooting and goalkeepers.
– (PS4) Fix for fans experiencing stuttering during online and offline gameplay.
– Added ability to call out the keeper in Pro Clubs.
– Fix for instances where Player Instructions in Seasons mode were not carrying over into gameplay via Team Management.
– Further improvements to Player Search in Career Mode.
– Adjusted Legendary difficulty in gameplay.
– Improvements to Goal Line Technology.
– Fix for match length issues in FIFA Ultimate Team Single Player Seasons matches.
– Updated real-world injuries and suspensions in Match Day Live.
– Improvements to ‘Looking Ahead’ audio in Career.
– Fixes to Player selection in Team Management in multiplayer matches.
– Tuned player specific audio speech in all modes.
– (XB1) Improvements to motion blur effects.
– (XB1) Fix to the display of FIFA Ultimate Team Legend players in the EA SPORTS Football Club widget.

No worries,i’ve had the patch installed since yesterday and turned upnp back on and it seems to have fixed the stuttering for me anyway :)

I’ve had the lagging bug (slowdown) in Fifa 14 on PS4 as well, but can’t see it getting fixed as EA will only be supporting Fifa 15 (probably).

I’ve had very few problems with lag or stuttering, but the ability to score from 40 yards with even a 50 rated player is ridiculous. It’s just as game breaking as the lagging issue.
It’s removed all the skill to scoring a goal and with it all the fun. The whole point is to make scoring a goal rewarding and right now it’s so easy that I can score 3 or 4 a game from 1 touch after kicking off. This is all based on local multiplayer, don’t know if the problems exist anywhere else in the game

Damn, I was (stupidly) hoping they would patch the Extra Effort trophy…it’s great that they’ve created new animations, but pointless if it’s nearly impossible to get your player to perform it.
Not had any stuttering issues (since disabling uPnP on my router, but before that it was totally unplayable).
