We’re right in the middle of the busiest time of the year for game releases, so as you might expect, it’s a big week on the PS Store – not least because of that PS4 game sale. It might not be having the happiest of launches right now, with relatively disappointing review scores compared to the hype and frame rate issues, but the biggest thing to hit the store for PS4 is easily going to be Assassin’s Creed: Unity. Naturally, this and the PS3’s Assassin’s Creed: Rogue will arrive alongside their retail releases on Friday.
Hitting the shelves alongside the two AC games are PES 2015 and LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, both on PS4 and PS3, but with Bats also fighting crime on PS Vita.
This week also sees the EU catching up with the US, as both Nidhogg and Costume Quest 2 make the perilous journey through the EU certification process and come out the other side a little late, but not defeated. Nidhogg’s out on PS4 and PS Vita with Cross-buy and an introductory PS+ discount, while Costume Quest 2’s Halloween-themed escapades are just for PS3 at the moment, it seems.

When has reality ever bothered those companies?
Looks like it blocks various phishing sites to protect the 7 people on the planet who’d try and enter all sorts of information into a website on a PS4. Trying to enter a 16 digit card number with that onscreen keyboard would probably drive me mad.
It might also block anything fun, just in case you’ve got kids.
All for the bargain price of £21.99.
Or you could be sensible, maybe use a DNS service that does those things for you, and possibly even turn on the filters your ISP provides (well, someone’s got to use the things ;)

It’s an Angry Birds-esque puzzle game where you need to knock various enemies over by hitting them with tennis balls (or other objects in the level). It’s only 4 quid so I bought it, it’s a bit of simple fun (so far, but I’ve only played through first 2 areas).
