“Moving a release date was not an easy decision to make, as we know our fans are eager to get their hands-on on Project CARS”, said studio head Ian Bell. “But we know that these extra days will allow us to provide the best game experience that our fans deserve. We assure you the wait will be worth it when the game does arrive early April”.

The game will launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC with the Wii U version following sometime later this year.

  1. Didn’t want to release the same day as battlefield more like!

  2. Somebody suggested that the length an timing of the delay could be down to it failing certification on one (or more) of the consoles.

So another game (nearly) released not ready. Anyway, I don’t mind as that’s after payday and I’ll have bought Final Fantasy Type 0 the week before.

  4. So, will this be out before GT7?

  5. Might be a few people ‘busting’ for a racing game that take the plunge on Driveclub (the only game ive played for the last 5 weeks!). Having said that, a couple of weeks isnt so bad. If it has failed certification its a worry though.

  6. I don’t see what the bitching is about. Better for a game to be delayed and [hopefully] working, than on-time and broken.

    • Yeah, I would rather wait for a game to be ‘finished’ properly than have a game that’s released on time but below par and/or full of bugs.
