Atari Releases Gameplay Trailer For RollerCoaster Tycoon World

Atari has released a gameplay trailer for RollerCoaster Tycoon World, which is set to release later this year on PC. It’s the first full RollerCoaster Tycoon game to release in nearly 10 years, with Atari hoping it manages to recapture the essence of the previous games.

This edition will have both cooperative muliplayer, and a track editor. As stated there is no firm release date yet. Once a date is confirmed for release then we shall let you know.

  1. I know its early dayz and all but.. ewww.. the graphics look like there worse than rct3! I just hope they improve it alot i love the rct3 series! The screenshots look amazing thou. :/ so confusing!

  2. That looks like traditional RCT to me, I’m a bit more interested/hopeful now!

    • After watching it over and over again. Trying to get my head around it. I have to say im still keen. I dont care about graphcis. Its more the gameplay. The themes. The amount of customizability we will have. Wether or not Custom user content will be supports ect.

      • I’m all about the building, the isometric view is integral to that so I’m glad they seem to have based it on that view.

  3. Does anyone have any idea how much this is likely to cost? I haven’t bought a PC game in I don’t know how many years, but this looks like it might be too nostalgic to ignore.

  4. want so much. The hours I’ve spent on the other games are crazy. Just recently got theme park studio to tide me over too

  5. It looks ok until what you thought was gameplay footage is low budget cgi, and the gameplay… It’s pretty bad that it looks worse than the 10 year old predecessor RCT3. I wouldn’t hold much hope for the rest of the game.

There is hope, Parkitect and Theme park studio look promising.
