Thankfully, it’s after midday, which means all the thinly veiled pranks and tomfoolery of this morning have come to an end. Everything you see in this PS Store update, in other words, is actually true. The slightly unfortunate timing of the Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin release, for example, which sees the game make the jump to the PS4 alongside all the previous DLC, just a matter of days after its spiritual offshoot, Bloodborne. It’s a collection that’s also arriving on PS3 at a cut price, but I ask you, is this a stroke of marketing genius or a scheduling folly?
It’s also time to dive head first into America’s cricket equivalent, as baseball launched a two pronged attack on the EU, by way of PlayStation exclusive MLB 15 The Show for PS4, PS3 and Vita, as well as Super Mega Baseball on PS4. Meanwhile, fans of indie and the Metroidvania style of games should take a look at Axiom Verge, which has been very well received.
