The Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass has been priced at £32.99 with the Premium Edition, which includes both the Season Pass and the main game, is priced at £87.98 for console, and £67.98 for PC.
Warner Bros say the pass “will deliver regular new content for six months post-launch including new story missions, additional super-villains invading Gotham City, legendary Batmobile skins, advanced challenge maps, alternative character skins, and new drivable race tracks.”
The DLC is priced around the same value as the Destiny and Call of Duty season passes, whether or not Warner Bros. deliver the same a amount of content remains to be seen. In contrast, The Evil Within DLC is £14.99 and gives you about five hours of new story (so far) with one further pack still to be released.
Of course you could just save your £33 and hope the rumoured PS4 remasters of the previous two Arkham games happen, you could buy them instead and get a lot more Bat for your buck.

I’ll pass on the season pass.
If content is announced before a game is out then I automatically suspect it’s been cut from the game to sell back as DLC.
hoopy91
If I buy the season pass does it automatically install dlc or is it just mean I get all the dlc for that price? Also tuffcub poor show previous to?
Tuffcub
No, you still have to go to the store and download the DLC when it’s released, it will just be marked “free” for you.
And shush. :P

The Destiny Season Pass is awful value for money. Im through buying season passes, i bought the CoD one and i cant even use it hardcore on the modes i want. Lesson learned.

This is now getting ridiculous this who season pass, why are people entertaining it, the more people that buy them the more developers that will incorporate this Malachi!!! Remember when they tried to introduce that pass to play games online but the community got together & they stopped it.
Say no to Season Pass!
JoeBoi
I don’t recall the online pass being removed by the power of the community. This was removed almost at the end of the previous generation.
I believe it was removed because company’s thought Microsofts DRM policy was going ahead. That was stopped by the community..
Starman
That’s what I’ve always thought. Plus it was rumoured Sony were going to use a similar DRM, only to drop it when they saw the backlash MS got.

This is all happening because of the community. People keep buying all this stuff. COD releases silly priced maps, they sell by the bucket load. Obviously another dev/publisher etc is going to try it and it again works because people buy it. Eventually it becomes the norm then the whole cycle starts again.
It’s the same with prices on the ps store creeping up etc. All this would not happen if people voted with their wallets but people never do.
Everybody hates the overpriced games on the store but yet some games have thousands of star ratings and that’s just the people that bothered to rate it once bought.
So obviously there are enough people buying all this stuff at these prices.
No doubt this Batman Season Pass will sell ridiculously well, hence we will be one step closer to this becoming the norm. Before we know it, it will be costing £100 per game to get the whole experience.
JR.
Some devs just want to see the community burn.
Carrot381
That really is a hefty sum of money. I haven’t played any of the Arkham games and I looks like I’ll be continuing with that trend.
Starman
They’re all really good. If you’ve got a last gen console get Arkham City GoTY edition, it’s proper cheap now.
Starman
This just went from definite preorder to “wait for the inevitable complete edition”
gaffers101
That’s almost as much as I have the game on pre-order with Amazon for. Don’t think I’ll be bothering with the DLC on this one.
TSBonyman
Utter madness – i can’t believe you didn’t play on the word ‘batarang’! ;)
The DLC situation is ridiculous too.
beeje13
I’ll still be buying the game, but they must be Joking if they expect me to pay £80 or more. Plenty of content in the main game I would think.
By “they” I mean Warner Bro’s, I can’t see Rocksteady coming up with this idea.
