Afternoon everyone, Tef is off doing something very important leaving me to host the weekly updated of the PlayStation Store. It’s PlayStation Plus week which means free games including The Unfinished Swan which is new both on PS4 and PS Vita, and Race to the Sun which available on all three systems.
It’s quite a big week for AAA games as well, Project CARS is launching (check the reviews here) along with the stand alone prequel to The New Order, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. The Deal of the Week is Far Cry 4 which can be nabbed for £29.99, whilst the Games under £8 promotion from last week will continue until May 20th.

So that’s why Guacamelee! STCE is on PS+, they’ve released DLC, pretty smart move. And new trophies too – that’s awesome. I also had no idea the game had 4-player co-op patched in. What a game.
I’ll be picking up that DLC and the free Project CARS DLC too!

The release date is the 8th so I’d hazzard a guess that digital store download release will be the 7th with access to said installed files after midnight on the 7th thus being the 8th.
What a frigging confusion this release has been, all’s I know is that my pre-order shipped today so could arrive tomorrow or Friday, jeez!

I’ve got the PC version on order, but have to wait for a physical copy from Amazon as it was £15 cheaper. If this was releasing at midnight tonight I may have cancelled my PC order and just got this instead.

If it actually is the 7th digitally, it’ll be midnight tonight, I don’t know about preloading. If it releases the same day as on disc in the UK, the 8th, it’ll be midnight tomorrow. If you have preordered it digitally on PS4, there should be a countdown timer on the store page. Just checked the X1 store and that says 7th May too…

I decided to switch my order and get the digital PS4 version. The countdown in my library says 7 hours 50 minutes, so looks like a midnight release.

Dunno about everyone else, but I noticed Hohokum is still £10 on the plus page. My friend confirmed it’s the same for him.

Ether One is certainly an interesting game. And already has a 3.something GB update. (Which possibly fixes crashes that could corrupt autosaves, so probably a good idea to install the update)
I’m guessing you could complete it very quickly, but it wouldn’t be a very rewarding experience. Wandering around reading things and solving puzzles (which mostly seem to be optional?) is much more fun. Something a bit creepy about wandering through a deserted village too.
Certainly makes up for the only other PS+ game I haven’t already got being Murasaki Baby with it’s idiotic decisions about what makes for a decent, working control scheme. A lovely odd, Tim Burton style game spoiled by the controls.

I was only going to add TEO to library until I read the description, it had me really interested. I just need time to play it.
