Three days ago we reported on a rapidly growing issue in which PlayStation Plus owners were being locked out of content on their consoles, even though their PlayStation Plus subscription was still valid.
It was thought that the EU PlayStation Now beta may have been to blame and Sony responded to a huge thread on the PlayStation community forums, posting that “hopefully a blanket solution will be applied to all those affected”.
It appears that blanket solution is still being worked on, but there a fix; To get your games back simply download a demo from the PlayStation store.
It doesn’t matter what the game or app is, download something and then restore you licenses via the usual manner. Sony will then perform a small ritual in a forest in Wales which mixes voodoo, hacking and the recipe for a red wine jus stolen from last year’s Masterchef champion, and within moments your account will be back to normal.
Hopefully Sony will roll out a proper fix very shortly.

Looks like the tech guys were working late last night as downloads didn’t work yesterday, Can confirm everything now working for me. Library unlocked and PS+ back :)

Tried this, got my library back but still can’t play online. Glad to have my games and apps back but so irritating that no online access when I’ve just bought MKX last weekend!

Although I haven’t been affected I’m glad to see Sony have come up with a solution pretty quickly.
I’m still going to give the Now Beta a wide berth until I know it’s completely safe.
