Taking to the stage at the Bethesda E3 conference, Pete Hines took the opportunity to announce a new entry in the strategy card game genre, set in the world of Tamriel and entitled Elder Scrolls Legends.
The game is set to arrive on iPad and PC, entering the same arena as the incredibly popular Hearthstone. Just as Hearthstone draws on the expansive history of World Of Warcraft, Elder Scrolls Legends has a similar advantage, and with players deeply invested in previous Elder Scrolls titles such as Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim and most recently Elder Scrolls Online, this could be essential for fans.
The likelihood is that it will be free-to-play, but of course Bethesda may opt for a more traditional route to market.
