EA Sports has announced that Access members will be able to download a 10 hour trial of the latest PGA Tour game starting Thursday 9th July.
@SteveyFranchise @pastapadre Hey Steve, the @EAAccess trial starts on July 9, and members can play the game for 10 hours. #NextGenGolf
— EA SPORTS PGA TOUR (@EASPORTSGOLF) June 25, 2015
The trial is expected to give members access to the full game, letting players get a head start ahead of the official launch on 16th July. As is standard with EA Access subscriptions, members will receive a 10% discount off the cost of a digital copy of the game upon release.
PGA Tour 2015 is the first game in the series to release on the current generation of consoles, it is also the first game in the series not to feature Tiger Woods. The game will be using the Frostbite engine which, I’m sure you’ll agree, is sure to make it the most beautiful looking golf game to date.

You, there’s part of me wondering whether Sony’s decision (was it really their decision or did Microsoft gain an exclusive deal?) not to take EA’s subscription model was a bad idea.

Brilliant, 10 hours of play for free. Access is really a great deal, pus PS+ and games with gold to total shame.
