Piranha Bytes has announced it is working with Nordic Games on a brand new IP called ELEX. The game is described as an action RPG set in a post apocalyptic science fantasy universe, with the map being open. ELEX has been announced for PS4, Xbox One & PC, but won’t be released until late 2016 or early 2017.  There isn’t really a lot of details about the game but it will feature moral choices which will probably have an affect on the outcome of the story.
There’s only a couple of pieces of concept art out at the moment, though both depict the same environment. The only difference is a hooded figure carrying a sword on his back, walking towards what appears to be a village with a taller building in the background.
I do like a good action RPG so hopefully this turns out to provide an interesting world to explore, with some decent gameplay.
