Two Heroes Reborn video games will be released this September to accompany the new series. The two games will be prequels to Heroes Reborn and have been written by writers from the show, overseen by Heroes creator Tim Kring. You will be able to play the games separately, but the stories will crossover and interlink.
“There are a lot of games that come out these days where they have a key mobile app that kind of tags onto the game in a minor way, and that’s not the case here,” said game designer Brad Santos. “Our mobile game, Enigma, is a very strong, standalone product that tells its own story and is really a complete experience in itself. But also, it ties back nicely to our core game, which is Gemini, and the TV series.”
Heroes Reborn: Gemini will be the game on consoles and PC and is a first-person action-adventure. You play as Cassandra who has “localized time-travel powers and telekinesis”. The mobile game, Heroes Reborn: Enigma, is another first person adventure but stars Dahalia, Cassandra’s younger sister.
