The Summer of Digital sales have entered their third week, with a fresh wave of games that stretch from Broken Age to OlliOlli 2, Geometry Wars 3, Castle Crashers and more landing on the store.
Those discounts are joined by a cut prices across the entire Call of Duty franchise. Admittedly, they struggle to compete with the kinds of prices that you see at retail for several year old games, but there are some good offers to be found, such as Call of Duty Ghosts for under £20 on PS4.
The Deal of the Week then rounds things off with Need for Speed: Rivals dropping to £11.99 on PS4 or £7.99 on PS3.

Anyone tried The Fall or Vanishing of Ethan Carter yet? I’m interested in both but i’m hearing that The Fall has a great story but poor gameplay and that Vanishing of Ethan Carter suffers from some framerate issues.

I bough The Fall and so far I havent really enjoyed it. The main issue for me so far is that you interact with a flashlight that doesnt seem intuitive to control and then you need to keep the right stick pointing in that direction whilst you press R1 and navigate a menu. Story looks interesting but I immediately thought “this is annoying I will come back to it later”.
Ethan I have on PC and I enjoyed it but cant comment on the ps4 version

The price for Transistor is wrong, since they seem to have got the price wrong in the first place before the discount.
But £3.75 is still an absolute bargain. If you haven’t already got it, you must go and buy it now. Or at some point in the next 7 and a bit days. (Those discounts run until 11.59PM next Wednesday)

Well, if you don’t take my advice (which is obviously not a wise decision), take notice of all the reviews. 83 on Metacritic, and a nice 9/10 from this very website. Where it came second in the game of the year thing, after Yet Another Mario Kart game. (Despite being about four times as original as anything Nintendo have given us in many, many years)
You’ll be missing out on an excellent RPG with one of the more interesting battle systems. And some lovely sounds. Just because you’d rather have a cup of tea instead?

Hmm… I was thinking of picking up Legend of Korra for that price, but then I remembered I’ve still got three unfinished Platinum games as is. And I’d much rather get back to those. Bayonetta 1, 2 and Wonderful 101.
