EVE developer CCP Games has announced a second VR game in the form of Gunjack, though it is currently exclusive to Samsung’s Gear VR. It is a bit of niche platform to release on but I would expect the game to eventually reach other VR hardware like HTC’s Hive and maybe Morpheus too. Gameplay wise Gunjack is a first person shooter where players take on the role of a gun turret operator on a mining vessel, with the job of protecting it from anyone who wants the ship’s goods.
The game will also be set within the EVE universe, alongside CCP’s other VR game, EVE: Valkyrie. Gunjack will release when the Gear VR makes it to market. There is currently no price for Gunjack.

this just looks like a cheaper Valkyrie – I thought CCP might of tried something different

I’m guessing that the main reason they chose this platform is that, unlike Morpheus or Occulus, this is already available – even if the only people that can play it are Galaxy Note 4 owners.

Nice. I really would like to start developing for the Gear VR however the lack of titles etc has put me off the initial spend.
Does anybody know if there are are figures publicly available for the sales?
